As a marine protected area for over 25 years, the Marine Park has become a thriving refuge for a wide variety of marine life and is an ideal location for the first dive of the day. Divers often encounter Groupers, Barracuda, Stingrays and huge Bluefin Tunas. On some dives, we’re even joined by Bottlenose Dolphins that live in the area, making this one of the most impressive dive sites in Rhodes.
Depending on sea conditions, the second dive usually takes place at one of our nearby wrecks either the Blusky Wreck, a former aquaculture feed barge, or the Pytheas Wreck, a 134-meter-long World War II Liberty Ship and the only accessible one of its kind in Greece. If conditions aren’t favorable, we stay within the Marine Park for a scenic wall dive instead.
This Marine Park dive program is suitable for Open Water Divers and above, offering a great mix of marine life, relaxed conditions, and the chance to explore local wrecks. more advanced divers can enjoy deeper or more challenging routes that offer even greater chances to encounter impressive marine life. Whatever your level, we aim to make each dive both safe and rewarding.
